A TOWN YOU WILL LOVE
TEveryone knows Fellini’s Rimini, a place of fantasy and memories, of dolce vita and divine food.
But only a few are aware of the town’s driving force or the great projects it has in store to become a leading player in the near future.

| Rimini is enjoying a make-over, a boom in investments and a veritable renaissance of new ideas. Prestigious architects such as Volkwin Marg (new Expo Centre), Portoghesi and Fuksas have put their names to an important re-development scheme now destined to change the face of an urban project that was struggling to survive on good will alone. The town is buzzing with new ideas and the energy build-up is contagious: this is where the great trendy discotheques first opened back in the Seventies and the same creativity has now generated the new formulae for the nightlife, increasingly involving the Riviera’s wonderful beaches. The road system is undergoing a make-over too: the Rimini-Riccione over ground light-rail project has already been approved and it will be the new axis of an eco-friendly transport system with a human touch. Rimini is changing, but it is always true to its time-honoured tradition of hospitality. Always the same, but on a non-stop self-improvement drive. |
