The pedestrian areas of the town offer really tempting shopping opportunities; Rimini's Corso d'Augusto and Marina Centro on the seafront host shop windows with original, eye-catching, refined and elegant items, which anticipate fashions and set trends. The area has numerous outlets for buying well-known brands at reduced prices, and company stores of top fashion brands. Pollini, Sergio Rossi, Gilmar and Max Mara are only a few of the brands of elegant clothes and footwear with stores in the Rimini area, which increasingly host organized visits by conference attendees.

Other than fashion, there are also traditional crafts: the most interesting buys include fabric items printed using rust, an age-old technique dating back to the 1600s which, by means of hand-carved wooden tools, prints decorations and floral designs on tablecloths, curtains, aprons and towels. There are also extremely interesting artistic ceramics and jewels made in goldsmiths’ workshops in Verucchio, marvellous reproductions of jewels dating back almost three thousand years, kept in the Archaeological Museum.
