Construction work of the new Rimini Conference Centre would be completed by September 2010.
The promoter of construction is Società del Palazzo dei Congressi, controlled by Rimini Fiera, which is handling the project.
Rimini Riviera Convention Bureau will be entrusted with the management of conference activity in what is destined to be the largest conference centre in Italy, unique for its structural originality, technical facilities and integration with the surrounding area.
The new Rimini Conference Centre, which will stand in an area of approx. 38,000 square metres, was designed by architect Volkwin Marg of Hamburg’s Studio GMP, who also designed the new Rimini Trade Fair and is considered one of the 15 major names on the world’s contemporary town-planning scenario.
